One of the first things learning outcomes that I had learned about was how to locate research sources in the library’s databases or archives and on the internet and how to evaluate them for credibility, accuracy, timeliness, and bias. Proof of my growth can be found on my works in the work cited section. It was something I very much struggled with in the start of class since I had to make sure it was valid. I learned how to verify its credibility and bias through repetitive experience with them.

A second learning outcome was learning how to develop strategies for reading, drafting, revising, and editing. This was a huge thing for me since it changed the way I wrote essays. Drafting was huge part for me since it helped me utilize my mind into getting all the information on paper and then organize and rewrite it multiple times. Even my way of revising was affected since I now learned new ways to read over my work and spotting errors in them.

The third learning outcome was learning how to explore and analyze. For example, getting to see other peoples’ work through peer review helped me in ways. From seeing all my fellow writers works, I was able to take ideas or learn new ways to introduce my points in my work. It was an important learning experience since it helped me be open to more criticism and feedback which lets met improve upon my work.
